Our vision
Adventure Brewing Company brews full-flavored beers for a growing audience of craft beer lovers. We brew year round, seasonal and specialty beers and release new beers almost weekly. Year round styles include Expedition IPA, Super Power Pilsner, Falmouth APA, Backpack Wheat, Fred Red, Virginia Hefeweizen, Stonewall Stout, and Stiletto Stout. Specialty and seasonal batches such as Second Ascent Double IPA, Bobsled Winter Ale, Pumpkin Patch Ale, Go East Young Man Peanut Butter Banana Wheat and others will, of course, invite more adventurous tastes. You’ll find samples and full beers available in our tasting rooms and can purchase growlers and bottled beer to take home. With local entertainment, special events, foods, beers and scheduled activities there’s always something new to experience at Adventure Brewing.
Our experience
Owners Tim Bornholtz, Stan Johnson, and Russ Patishnock learned to brew beer in the 1990s but it wasn’t until 2010 that their hobby brought them together and they began to brew as a team. At about the same time they formed the Stafford Brewers Club, a local organization dedicated to the creation and sharing of home brewed craft beer.
